House Manager, UGM Crisis Shelter for Women & Children, Spokane, WA
Full-time position: Duties include maintaining a safe environment, teaching the women and children, securing the building, and providing supervision, direction, and guidance to the guests of the Crisis Shelter. Requires good personal boundaries, interpersonal skills, and a lot of energy. Must be committed to the Christian faith and comply with drug-free, tobacco-free, and no-alcohol policy. Hours of work are Wednesday 1–5 (staff meeting) and Thursday–Sunday 5:30 AM–2:30 PM. Hourly range: $8.76-12.26 hourly, DOE.
Food Operations Manager – Full time – Union Gospel Mission, Spokane, WA
Responsibilities include networking, facilitating, ordering, purchasing food. Manages all daily operations of food services. Organizes and maintains all inventories for all ministries. Handles all administrative tasks and manages personnel. Communicates with our donation partners. Establishes and implements our system for record keeping. Supervises food service courier. Must be committed to the Christian faith and comply with drug-free, tobacco-free, and no-alcohol policy. Hourly range $10.25–$13.83. Benefits include health, dental, and retirement.
Requirements:
- Valid WA State Driver’s License
- Clean driving record
- Excellent map reading skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must be able to lift 70 pounds
